Angharad Sanders

Having worked extensively throughout the U.K. and in America and Ireland, Angharad is a highly regarded musician, musical director and singer. Originally from Carmarthen, Angharad gained a B.Mus (hons) at Huddersfield University and then moved to Leeds College of Music where she was awarded a P.G.Cert in Jazz, Popular and Contemporary Music before becoming a vocal teacher there for many years.

Angharad is passionate about working with young artists and emerging talent, having worked with Pop icon’s and West End and Broadway leads in some of the U.K.’s leading performing arts schools, including; Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Arts Ed, London Studio Centre, G.S.A., Sylvia Young, Italia Conti, Midlands Academy of Musical Theatre and, internationally, for Ireland’s leading training centres: the ACA Performing Arts, Cork and WestSide Stage School in Dublin and in the U.S.; Stagedoor Manor in New York.

Angharad is also a renowned singer, performing across the U.K. as a solo singer and with bands such as the My Live Music Big Band and the Spice Fusion Big Band.  Since relocating back to South Wales to have her son, Angharad has been extremely pleased to be performing on her home turf with function bands, Soul Dragon, The Coastals and with the Constellation Big Band. She has also runs the Torch Voices community choir and is keeping her passion for educating alive, running Limelight School for Performing Arts, a part time theatre school for all ages and Tickle Tunes, offering music classes for children aged 0 to 5 and their grown ups.
